The Brickcom FB-500A Series provides resolutions up to 5 megapixel and full frame rate FULL HDTV video at 1080p@30fps. The FB-500A Series supports H.264, Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 in multiple streams to meet different quality needs. The FB-500A Series use a 1/2.5" Sensor, offering reliable video even in a low lux application (0.8Lux @ F1.3). With the 5 megapixel sensor, the FB-500A series provides clear, sharp video and color fidelity.

Smart Design and Intelligent Surveillance Software Features
The FB-500A Series is designed with powerful software features to maximize the camera's capabilities and adapt to variable environments to provide the optimal video quality. The Brickcom Intelligent Multi-Profile Sensor Management® supports 5 profiles, allowing users to configure multiple image parameters, such as brightness, contrast, and exposure. This will enable to camera to capture better video surveillance in changing lighting environments. The profiles can be configured to switch automatically according to the user-defined schedule. Up to 3 pre-set profiles (Day, Night, and Sunset) and 2 user-defined profiles are provided for the camera for unprecedented flexibility. The FB-500A is also the Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA) ready camera, the applications such as object tracking, people counting, and forbidden region alarm alerts will be supported in the future.

Day and Night Function and Edge Recording
The FB-500A Series with Day and Night functionality is designed for 24 hour surveillance environment where sharp, clear detail is essential. The FB-500A Series has a removable IR-Cut filter to ensure that even under poor lighting conditions; the camera will automatically adjust the contrast between bright and dark image areas for optimum detail display. With an outdoor housing enclosure, the FB-500A Series is suitable for commercial, indoor/outdoor security applications such as lobby entrances, parking lots, ATMs and loading areas. The DI/DO, RS485 terminal allow users to connect the FB-500A to external alarm and sensor devices for added security protection. By integrating with the Brickcom BP-1000 power battery pack, the FB-500A Series supports Edge Recording. The camera will continue recording and store the data to the Micro SD/SDHC card when the network or power connection is interrupted.

Easy and Flexible Installation
The 5M Fixed Box camera series offers a wide variety of data transmission options to meet different needs. The FB-500A supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) which allows the cameras to transmit data and receive power through the same cable. The FB-500A Series also can support a USB dongle for 3G/ 4G (WiMAX/LTE) wireless connectivity. The FB-500A series can create a secure wireless solution that can be easily installed in locations where Ethernet cabling is too difficult or expensive.
